Robotic Spray-Up System

KMCP has adopted an industrial robot-arm–based automatic spray-up system to dramatically raise precision and quality in boat manufacturing, enabling end-to-end automation of the composite (FRP) molding process.

  • The robotic arm accurately sprays fiber-reinforced plastic into the mold, achieving three critical goals at once: uniform laminate thickness, optimized resin usage, and unwavering product consistency.
  • Capable of tracing even the most intricate curved surfaces, the system excels when forming complex hull geometries or large-scale composite structures, delivering outstanding results on high-difficulty builds.

High-Precision Shipbuilding Through CNC Machining

  • KMCP integrates CNC precision-machining technology throughout every stage of boat manufacturing, achieving mold tolerances tightened to within ±0.1 mm. Automated CNC systems translate 3-D design data into flawlessly milled molds—even for complex curved surfaces—so each hull combines exact geometry with outstanding structural strength.
  • Deck finishes, roof structures, console panels, and every other component are likewise CNC-machined to their exact design dimensions, guaranteeing perfect alignment and a pristine finish at final assembly.
